AND OTHER EPHEMERA…

AN INTRODUCTION
Ephemera (noun) written or printed paper items of no lasting significance. Existing to be used or enjoyed for only a short time. From the Greek, neuter of ephēmeros ‘lasting only a day’.
“Stand still, you ever moving stars of heaven, that time may cease and midnight never come! Fair nature’s eye, rise, rise again and make perpetual day; or let this hour be but a year, a month, a natural day…”
(Written by Christopher Marlowe Dr. Faustus – A Text, 1592-3)
